While there be sure to take the kids to the Discovery Center of the Southern Tier to round out a fun day for the family. Greater Binghamton lays claim to the title of Carousel Capital of the country having a total of 6 carousels in Binghamton and the surounding communities. These carousels made by the Allen Herschell Co. between 1920 and 1924 attract visitors from everywhere who come to enjoy them. Ask for more information at the Binghamton Visitors Center in the Roberson Center. |
